HATO cafe
HATO cafe started as the project to bring citizens close to the government. The naming, HATO comes from the Japanese prime minister, Hatoyama. We bring "cafe" and "lounge" images in residence. We wanted to represent the president's friendly character as a citizen by simple and relaxing design. There is a wish to become an open space which mutual understanding and real communication are born in overlapping speech bubbles design.
HATO cafe started online using social networking services like blog and twitter, now "real HATO cafe" which is the real place to exchange opinions equally with the government was also hold. We also produced its space design.
